Approval of minutes from the 11/23/10 meeting.
General discussion and open forum for anyone present. Joe Colangelo will allot time for discussion and individual requests to speak.
Directors report.
Old Business:
- Progress of the RRAC STEAP contracted items install to date including cost overruns and how they will be provided for outside the STEAP grant.
- Progress of this year’s basketball recreation program to date, and other ongoing winter programs.
New Business
- Discuss plans for an opening day event for spring 2011 at the RRAC based on the probable completion date of the planned STEAP grant installs. The event could coincide with Little Leagues opening day, a soccer event, or a planned multiple sports event utilizing all of our new and existing facilities. Food and bathroom facilities should be provided for the event based on projected attendance.
- Discuss methods to decrease our budget by 7% as requested by the Selectmen’s office and provide a written assessment to be presented at the January 12th Town meeting. This discussion should include but not be limited to how our field maintenance will be affected by budget constraints with the possibility of fees issued for use of the facility to organizations who have scheduled use of the fields.
